Policies

By hiring me, you agree to the following policies:

Please note: I will only work in a non-smoking environment. That includes indoors or outdoors, tobacco, marijuana, vaping, hookah, etc.

Home must be relatively clean. Any evidence of rodent droppings, pet urine or feces, mold, etc. will necessitate professional cleaning and/or extermination before work can continue. If I have been scheduled to work for 2 hours and I come across these, you will be charged for 2 hours, even if I have to leave. Please understand that the above conditions are a health hazard and must be taken care of before I step foot on the property.

I’m sorry, I don’t have the expertise to work with someone who has hoarding tendencies, but if I can, I may be able to refer you to someone who has the proper training to assist you.

No weapons in the home, unless they are safely locked up and out of sight..

Everyone in the home needs to be on board with the decluttering process. If arguing ensues between clients, I will leave. My regular rates will still apply as if I stayed for the entire scheduled time.

I do not organize or declutter pornography of any type or sex toys of any type. Please keep these items out of sight.

Cancellation without a 24-hour notice will incur a half charge of $80 for my time. Please know that I said yes to you and no to someone else and I can’t always reschedule someone else in your time slot. If you cancel while I’m en route to you, you will be charged the full 2-hour rate. Additionally, if you cancel more than twice (other than for illness), you must prepay for future sessions. There will be no refunds for unused, prepaid sessions.

Please note: I do not travel into the hills or up steep driveways. I admit to a fear of heights and appreciate your understanding.

**If you are ill or have been in recent contact with someone who is contagious (especially Covid-19), please cancel our appointment. I take wellness very seriously. I’m fully vaccinated and had my booster shots.

Your confidentiality is vitally important to me. I will never divulge anything that I hear, see, or read to anyone else. However, any disclosures required by law shall not be a violation of this policy.

Professional Organizing means that I am not sitting in judgment of you. You don’t need to apologize for anything. I don’t think less of you. Please remember, I’m here to help.
